WE HAVE A VOICE
Teen’s voices aren't often taken seriously. In fact, we have no say in social decisions which affect us directly.
The commonplace prejudice that we, teens, just don't care about anything couldn't be further from the truth.
We are certain that our ideas can be helpful in the world today; and we want the chance to express our vision.
DO GIVE US A SAY!
We are a group of teens who study English together at English Corner Open. This year, we’ve talked about how adults say that we are the future and, at the same time, they undervalue our ideas. We all agreed that we want to have a valid voice in the important matters of our society…
True, we might be the future, but we are also a living part of the present.
As a group, we felt the need to create a situation where we could express our thoughts and also listen to others.
We never expected that we were going to feel so connected with the ideas of other teens coming from such different lifestyles and backgrounds. That was a Wonderful Surprise!
